Delete your account

You can ask Tutorac Academy to delete your account and the personal data linked to it. This applies to your account on tutoracacademy.com and in the Tutorac Academy app ("Tutorac Academy - Learning App" on Google Play), which use the same account.

How to ask us to delete your account

In the app: open Account, tap Delete account, then Write to support. An email to our support team opens with your account details filled in. Send it.

By email: write to support@tutoracacademy.com (or info@tutoracacademy.com) with the subject "Delete my Tutorac Academy account". Send it from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number you log in with, so that we can find your account.

Before we delete anything, we may contact you on your registered email address or mobile number to confirm that the request came from you. We'll let you know once your account has been deleted.

What we delete

• Your account and profile: name, email address, mobile number and profile photo.
• Your learning activity: lessons watched and your progress, quiz and test attempts and results, Practice AI tests, and the questions you asked the AI tutor.
• Your notifications and the push-notification tokens of your devices.

What we may keep

• Records of payments and invoices, for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
• Information we need to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or meet another legal obligation, only for as long as that requires.
• Copies in our backups, until those backups are overwritten in the normal course.

Plans you have bought end when your account is deleted and can't be restored afterwards.

Deleting some of your data only

If you'd like us to delete specific data without deleting your account, write to the same address and tell us what you'd like removed. If you study with Tutorac Academy through your coaching institute, please mention your institute's name in your email.
